Una Volta sul Mare is a hospitality project in the heart of Vieste’s historic center, four apartments set within historic buildings, where history is not just a backdrop, but part of the experience.
The sea is always present — visible from the windows and balconies, felt in every moment of the day. All around, the old town with its authentic rhythms, its quiet atmosphere, and its unique light.
The project takes shape across two historic buildings.
Il Monastero sul Mare is located within Palazzo San Marco, a 16th-century building that once housed a monastery. Today it welcomes three apartments, preserving its historic identity and its deep connection with the sea.
Una Volta sul Mare, from which the project takes its name, is set in a 17th-century building on the edge of the old town. Here, the sea is right in front of you — just across the street, with rocks and water only a few steps away.
The spaces have been carefully restored, respecting what time had left behind, allowing stone, light and proportions to remain the true protagonists.
Staying here is not simply about having a place to sleep, but about experiencing Vieste from its most authentic side, with the sea close by and time slowing down.
